Nihon PMI Partners Inc. and Miwa Yamashita, CEO of Your Bright Inc., have agreed to establish a new company specializing in the introduction of foreign nursing care personnel as of October 8, 2024.
Nihon PMI Partners Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Satoshi Hamada, hereinafter referred to as "our company") has agreed to establish a new company specializing in the introduction of foreign nursing care personnel in collaboration with YourBright Co,. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "YourBright"). Through Clematis Care Holdings Inc., which is 100% owned by the Regional Healthcare Revitalization Healthcare Fund (hereinafter referred to as "the fund") managed by our company, we will invest in the new company, YB Care Staff Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "YB Care Staff"). By integrating our expertise in the healthcare field with Your Bright's extensive know-how, we aim to support nursing care providers in addressing the issue of labor shortages.
About YourBright
YourBright has been engaged in the introduction of foreign nursing care personnel since 2017. In 2019, it began operations as a registered support organization for specified skilled foreign workers and produced the first successful candidate in Japan under the "Specified Skilled Worker - Nursing Care" category. With a vast database of over 150,000 personnel, the company recommends candidates that meet the needs of nursing care providers and supports them throughout the interview, hiring, and employment processes. Additionally, it provides ongoing support to both recipient companies and foreign workers after employment.
Background and Objectives of the Transaction
Japan's nursing care industry is facing a serious labor shortage due to the progression of a declining birthrate and aging population. Against this backdrop, there has been growing attention to the employment of foreign personnel, with approximately 28,000 specified skilled foreign workers already active in the nursing care field. Demand for foreign personnel is expected to continue increasing, particularly with the anticipated expansion of eligibility to home care services. The utilization of foreign personnel is essential for the sustainable development of the nursing care industry.
